Switching over to Google Apps for mails

Dec 09

Hello guys, just a quick word here to let you guys know that I’m switching to Google Apps for my emails now.

My SpamAssassin simply doesn’t do the trick, and since Google has a great anti-spam (and I’ll spare quite a bit of space), I’m switching over to Google Apps.

Aion almost at 1,000,000 players!

Well, first of all, I’m truly sorry missing your daily post yesterday, but I’ll make it up today.

First thing I do every day, is check my mail. And I keep doing that often, and my Firefox can confirm that, as it says I’ve vistited GMail over 2.712 times in the past 2 months… I’m a mail addict.

Today, I’ve gotten a mail from MMORPG.com, where it says that Aion is reaching the 1 million players milestone. First of all, congratulations! I’ve never known an MMORPG which such a big amount of players so shortly after launch!

I’ve been following Aion for a long time, though, from before even Dungeon Runners came out 2 years ago. I saw all the movies, I wanted to play it, but even though it has been out for a while, I haven’t played it. I was lucky enough, though, to obtain a beta key, but due problems with the gameclient (called something like nProtect GameGuard), which gave me all blocks in a error window. Haven’t tried it since.
I hate GameGuard, as it also was the reason why I couldn’t play TCoS on my Windows 7 (had to MANUALLY download a THIRD PARTY patch to get it BACK TO WORK). A shame.

But I truly wish Aion the best, as it looks like a great game, but I’ll stick with Guild Wars, no matter what. Well, at least until Guild Wars 2 is out, maybe I’ll play both of them at that point. But for now, I stay playing Guild Wars, because in all those years, I made a shitload of friends. And I ran out of space in my friend list months ago.

Maybe I’ll need to give my girlfriend a bit more attention…
